Oppo is all set to launch their new lineup of devices Thailand with improved build quality and user-centric features out of the box. The Oppo F5, Oppo F5 6 GB and the Oppo F5 Youth will be the three new devices (the Youth being the cheapest of the lot). Let’s look at the technical specifications of the same for further analysis.
According to the advertising poster, all three devices are powered by an unknown artificial intelligence out of the box (Like Google Assistance, Siri, or Bixby). All three models are expected to offer an FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with 18:9 aspect ration offering an edge to edge screen with very narrow bezels.
These devices will be powered by either Qualcomm or MediaTek processor depending on the market. However, the Oppo F5 and Oppo F5 6 GB will be powered by a Qualcomm SoC, whereas the Oppo F5 Youth will be powered by MediaTek processor.
In terms of storage, these devices are expected to offer either 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB). In terms of connectivity, all three models will offer dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability with WiFi and WiFi Hotspot as well. Necessary features like a fingerprint scanner, USB OTG, metal unibody design, and tempered glass protection can also be expected.
With respect to the camera capability, these devices are expected to feature a 20 MP selfie camera with front facing flash and a 16 MP rear-facing camera with PDAF and 1080p video recording capability. With respect to operating system, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top.
