As we informed about the Synaptic’s new Synaptic Clear ID, the fingerprint scanner which can be embedded into the phone’s display has new updates with respect to implementations of this technology. According to the latest news, Vivo will be the first smartphone OEM to launch a smartphone with Synaptic Clear ID.

So, before Samsung or Apple, Vivo will be the boss in the fingerprint scanner built on to the touch panel. This means two things, the upcoming Vivo smartphone will be the first smartphone to feature this state of the art technology and the upcoming smartphone is likely to be the most costliest Vivo smartphone ever.

So, this will be a top of the line flagship smartphone which is expected to feature flagship class specifications. So, here are the speculated specifications of the upcoming Vivo smartphone with Synaptic Clear ID.

To begin with the most important feature of any smartphone, the display. The upcoming Vivo smartphone is expected to feature FHD+ OLED panel with all new 18:9 aspect ratio. Do note that, this technology can be only implemented on the smartphones, which has OLED display. This display is likely to be powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with up to 6 GB RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot.

On to the camera, the smartphone will offer dual main camera setup with a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens. This cameras setup will offer X2 optical zoom, 4k video recording and portrait mode.  For the selfie camera, the smartphone maker is likely to use a 24 MP or higher MP count secondary camera with improved features like beauty mode and wider selfies.

Finally, in terms of operating system, the smartphone will run on Android Oreo-based operating system with custom UI on the top. If everything goes according to the time frame, then we might be able to spot the smartphone in MWC 2018 in January.
