If you are a Vivo fan, wait for few days as the company is planning to launch a new colour variant of the Vivo V7 with Energetic Blue Colour edition. If the sources are to be believed, the smartphone is likely to cost same as that of the original model with a different paint job.

Vivo V7 is the first Vivo smartphone to feature a premium metal unibody design with 18:9 aspect ratio display with a full metal unibody solution. Compared to the previous Vivo iterations, this device packs some serious specifications, which one can appreciate. However, the device is still overpriced compared to the competition. The Vivo V7 is priced at ₹18,990 and offers the following tech specifications.

To begin with a fascinating fact about the smartphone, the display on the phone offers a new 18:9 taller aspect ratio with narrow bezels on the all four sides of the smartphone. This display is driven by 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core SoC (which is a toned down version of the original Qualcomm Snapdragon 625) with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers dual nano-SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots. As a matter of fact, the slot is a Hybrid solution, which either accepts two SIM cards or a SIM + micro SD card.

Company claims that this is a selfie-centric smartphone as the device packs a massive 24 MP selfie camera with a 1080p video recording capability. For the main camera, the company uses a 16 MP shooter with F/2.0 aperture with similar 1080p video recording capability.

In terms of operating system, the smartphone runs on a custom version of Android Nougat 7.0 with no details on the availability of the Android Oreo. Everything onboard is backed by a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability.
