Vivo, the official smartphone partner for the upcoming FIFA world cup is all set to launch their upcoming flagship in China. According to the press invite, the device will be unveiled in China at 8:00 PM (20:00).

The poster doesn’t disclose much of the specifications. However, it does serve the purpose to showcase the nearly bezel-less display. In terms of build quality, the device is expected to feature full metal unibody design on the back and Corning Gorilla Glass on the front with the 2.5D curved display.

According to the Chinese social media platform Weibo, the Vivo X20 will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core SoC, paired with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage. The device is speculated to offer 5.5-inch full HD 1080p IPS LCD panel with 18:9 aspect ratio.  Like most of the Vivo smartphones, the device will feature camera centric features. It is speculated that the device might offer dual 24 MP front-facing camera with a moonlight flash. The mobile is speculated to offer dual rear-camera solution for the first time, the functions of the dual camera is expected to be similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus ( X2 optical zoom, Portrait-mode, and 4K video recording capability)

The mobile is expected to feature 4000 mAh Li-ion (non-user accessible) battery with fast charging capability. The device is tipped to offer dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte support. The device is also expected offer support for the dual channel WiFi (both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz).

Finally, it is also speculated that the Vivo X20 will be the first smartphone to feature the finger print embedded on to the display itself. FYI: This technology was showcased by Vivo in Mobile world conference 2017 held in Shanghai. Finally, the device is expected to be priced around CNY 3,500 (INR 35,000) for the standard version running on Android Nougat 7.1.1 with the customised operating system on the top.
