Get ready to burst some stormtroopers, as they are coming to your home if you purchase the all new Lenovo Mirage AR headset. Lenovo in partnership with Disney and Lucus films has made a new AR headset with accessories like Tracking beacon and a Lightsaber controller.  The entire combo is up for pre-order for just $199.9 (INR 14,000).

Unlike most of the AR headset, this one doesn’t require a powerful PC, instead, it can be used with already existing iPhones and Android smartphones (high-end models with flagship class specifications). iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S7, Google Pixel XL, Google Pixel, Moto Z are the currently supported devices.

Just install the Star Wars: Jedi Challenge APK and you are good to go. Having a physical lightsaber controller with Tracking beacon will give an immersive experience for the players.

This is the first AR Kit, which is affordable and easily accessible as HTC and Facebook’s AR requires high-end laptops, which also costs X10 the price tag of the Mirage AR.

There is no specific time frame on the availability of the kit in India. According to their previous launches, the device should come to India in 2 to 3 months after the official launch.
