Vivo, the Chinese smartphone brand is all set to launch Vivo V7+ in India. The device is expected to set a benchmark for the upcoming mid-tier smartphones.

The device is expected to feature “Full Vision display” with 1080p resolution. Full Vision display is something that offers more percentage of the screen real-estate, rather than the narrow bezels found commonly on the smartphones. However, this is not the first smartphone to offer this technology, as LG Q6 and Micromax Infinity comes with the same 18:9 aspect ratio screen with very narrow bezels.

Few accessories like back-case and screen guard are already available in many E-Commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon. As this device will be available on both offline and online market simultaneously, it is interesting to see at which price point the phone will be offered ( Vivo smartphones are always priced higher than their values)

In terms of specifications, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630/660 Octa-core SoC, paired with either 3 GB or 4 GB RAM with 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated SD card slot.

In terms of camera capability, the device will feature selfie centric camera. Like its previous iterations, one can expect at least 16 MP front-facing camera and a dual rear facing camera setup can also be expected. In terms of operating system, the device is likely to be powered by Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top.

The device will be unveiled in an held in New Delhi at 12:45 PM today. Here is the official link to watch the presentation.

For the first time, a user can watch the presentation either from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, and Flipkart.
