Xiaomi India is all set to launch a new entry-level Android smartphone, which is now called as “Desh Ka Smartphone” (tentative). There hasn’t been much information on the smartphone, but now we have proof to say that, the smartphone will be exclusively sold on Flipkart for the first few sales, later on, the device will be made available across the Mi Preferred partners and Mi Homes across the country.

In a series of tweets, the Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain has confirmed that the smartphone will be the most inexpensive smartphone from the brand, so, that, the device is likely to be priced at less than ₹5,000 rupees price tag.

According to the Xiaomi India Redmi twitted handle, the device will be made under the Redmi line of smartphone, and this device will be a made in India product, which will be assembled in one of three plants across the country.

The brand has also claimed that this device will have a bigger battery with longer lasting battery capacity, so, one can expect two days of battery life on a single charge. We don’t have complete details on the device. So, even we are looking forward to this “India Ka Smartphone”.
