Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 latest leaks and rumours are here and just like the tradition, the design is inspired by Apple iPhone X. The back case goes with a name MI MIX DESIGNED BY XIAOMI, which was found on the first two generations of Xiaomi Mi MIX smartphones. So, we almost confirm that the design will be incorporated into the next generation flagship smartphone from Xiaomi. The company is expected to use ceramic back case, which offers better protection and scratch resistance compared to tempered glass back panel.
The design of the back panel clears few things. The Mi MIX 3 will be the first smartphone Mi MIX series smartphone to use dual camera setup. In fact, the vertically placed camera module might offer a similar camera setup as that of the Xiaomi Mi 6 with dual 12 MP camera with OIS, portrait mode, and 4K video recording capability. The round circle found on the back houses the fingerprint scanner.
Except for the back case, there isn’t any information available about the device. As, the device is expected to launch in the month October, just like this year’s launch. The smartphone will bring in a lot of changes and here are the speculated specs and features that one can expect from the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3.
To begin with the display, the smartphone maker might use a similar 18:9 aspect ratio display, however, this time the bezels will be a lot slimmer. The one prominent change that we can expect with the device will be the display technology. The smartphone maker might use an OLED display instead of IPS LCD like the Xiaomi Mi MIX and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2.
In terms of hardware, the smartphone is expected to offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-core SoC, paired with at least 6 GB or 8 GB RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage. The smartphone maker might also introduce an exclusive 256 GB version as well. So, the overall user experience will be nothing in short of the premium flagship smartphone.
In terms of operating system, the device is expected to run on a MiUi 10 based on Android Oreo operating system. One can also expect at least a 3500 mAh sealed battery with fast charging capability via USB type C port. Like always, the device will not offer a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone jack and one has to use type C port for charging and listening music.
