Mi, the mobile internet company launches a new premium line of TVs at an affordable price tag with the irresistible price point. The new Xiaomi Mi TV 4C is offered in standard 43.0-inch and 55.0-inch priced at CNY 1849 (INR 18,490) and CNY 2,649 (INR 26,490).
As these are the smart TVs. The 43-inch variant offers 1 GB RAM and 8 GB onboard storage and the premium 55.0-inch TV offers 2 GB RAM and 8 GB onboard storage. With respect to clarity, the 43.0-inch model is equipped with a 1080p IPS LCD panel and a 55.0-inch model is equipped with a high-resolution 4K IPS LCD panel with very narrow 9 mm bezels.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4C is powered by Amlogic T962 64-bit processor quad-core SoC, paired with either 1 GB or 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM. The TV also supports next generation 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz WiFi, with latest Bluetooth 4.2 support with Dolby Atmos and DTS Audio support. These smart TV’s comes with a standard remote, however, to get most out of these smart TV’s, one has to shell out additional CNY 99 (INR 999) for the next generation Bluetooth support, which can also be used as the remote controller.
However, only the 55.0-inch variant supports native HDR, which can be used to stream HDR content from third-party sources like YouTube and Netflix. As of now, there is no information regarding the availability of these TV’s outside India, however, as the company is launching a wide variety of lifestyle products these days, one can expect to get these new TV’s in India in upcoming days.
