Tech specifications for the Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p IPS LCD screen with 2.5D Curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core SoC, paired with either 2 GB, 3 GB, or 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM with 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (Hybrid sim slot). In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability. The device will be available in Gold, Silver, and Black colour shades.

In terms of camera capability, the device is equipped with a 13 MP rear-facing camera with PDAF and 1080p video recording capability. On the front, the device offers a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera with 1080p video recording capability. However, the only shortcoming on this device is the camera, and these cameras are not the best available in the market.

Coming to the battery, the device offers a massive 4000 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability (up to 10W) with old-school micro USB slot. With respect to operating system, the device offers Android Nougat 7.0 with custom MIUI 8.5 on the top and the device is expected to receive MIUI version 9 with features like multi-window, improved user experience and much more.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 features offer similar design language with slightly underrated specifications. The device houses a 5.0-inch 720p IPS LCD screen with 2.5D curved glass on the top. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa-core SoC, paired with either 2 GB, 3 GB or 4 GB RAM with 16 GB or 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a micro SD card slot.

Coming to the camera capability, the device offers similar optics with 13 MP rear-facing and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera with 1080p video recording capability. Even the Redmi 4 is equipped with 4000 mAh battery, which will last longer due to the smaller display.
