Xiaomi Redmi, the smartphone lineup that is known for its premium features under a tight budget is everyone’s favourite in the country like India. The Redmi Note 3 was the greatest device that was launched by the Xiaomi, and the successor of the same, the Redmi Note 4 is the best selling smartphone. As many of us were speculating about the features and the design of the Redmi Note 5, the company is ready to rule the market once again for the following reasons. The upcoming Redmi Note 5 is likely to offers an FHD+ resolution IPS LCD screen with 18:9 aspect ration covered by 2.5D curved tempered glass. Under the hood, depending on the market, the device is expected to offer either Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core SoC or MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, paired with 3 GB or 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM with 16 GB or 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated Micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB). Due to the narrower bezels, the overall form factor will be more compact in comparison with the Redmi Note 4, which facilitates to the one hand usability.

The build-quality is expected to remain same as that of the Redmi Note 4X or Redmi Note 4 with full metal unibody solution with plastic antenna bands on the top and bottom part of the smartphone. Finally, coming to the camera, the device will offer dual rear-camera setup (set up like the Xiaomi Mi A1) with one wide angle lens and a telephoto lens. On the front, the device is likely to offer a single front-facing camera with 5 MP resolution featuring beauty mode and 1080p video recording capability.

In terms of connectivity, the device is expected to feature dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE And VoLte capability on both the slots. The device is also expected to feature a dedicated micro SD card slot, which was the most requested feature in the Xiaomi Redmi Note series. In terms of operating system, the device will be powered by Android Nougat with MiUi Version 9 on the top.

As per the battery is concerned, the device is likely to offer a 4000 mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging capability via USB type C port. features like infrared sensor, fingerprint sensor will also make its way towards this awesomeness.
