For some time now Xiaomi has been working on Smart Home products. Lately, the company is trying hard to expand its market in the US.

The company has recently made two significant announcements on the sidelines of Google I/O 2018. Firstly, it will launch its smart home products in the US. Secondly, all of the products will have Google Assistant support. This would make the Xiaomi’s smart home devices possible to control by voice. Also, it would improve Xiaomi’s relationship with Google.

More details:

The products which will be launched in the US include Mi Bedside Lamp, Mi LED Smart Bulb and Plug. All of these products will support Assistant, hence, users can control them by voice commands. More products will follow but this is it for the start. Users can get these products either at Amazon or at Xiaomi’s online store.
