After seeing its success in the Indian market, the Chinese phone maker giant, Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest phablet, the Mi Max 2 in India today. The Mi Max 2 is the substitute of the Mi Max phablet which was launched in India in June last year. In China, the new phablet was released in May in two variants, a 64GB version priced at approx. ₹16,000 and a 128GB variant priced at approx.₹19,000.
The Mi Max 2 has a screen size of 6.44 inch, powered by a massive 5,300mAh battery that features Quick Charge 3 with two-day battery life. It comes with a 12MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP selfie-shooter.
The device is built in a metal unibody design and sports a fingerprint sensor on the back. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz blended with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The device runs on Android Nougat 7.0 operating system.
