ZTE Blade A2 Plus

ZTE has launched its Blade A2 Plus smartphone in India for INR 11,999. The smartphone will be available for buying exclusively on Flipkart starting February 6th. It will be available in 2 color options, Silver and Gold.

Initially, the company had launched the smartphones in 2 variants, with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. However, in India, it is launching only the 4GB variant and surprising, at a much cheaper price than China. In China, 3GB variant is priced at CNY 1499 (Approx INR 15000) and 4GB variant is priced at CNY 1699 (Roughly INR 17000).

ZTE Blade A2 Plus has a metal uni-body design. A square shaped camera, flash and fingerprint scanner are placed on the back of the phone, along with power and volume buttons on the right. Capacitive touch buttons are at the bottom in front. The main highlight of the phone is 5000 mAh battery with fast charging. The manufacturer claims that the phone can last over 22 hours with heavy usage.

Talking about specifications, it has 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display. Powered by 64 bit Mediatek MT6750T Octa-Core SoC (4 Cortex A53 cores clocking at 1.5 GHz and another 4 at 1GHz), it has Mali  T860 GPU. The phone comes with an inbuilt storage of 32 GB and users have an option to expand that to 128GB with a micro SD card. It has a hybrid dual SIM design, which lets users use either the second SIM card or the micro SD card for additional storage.

The smartphone runs on Mifavor 3.5 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has a 13MP camera at back with dual LED flash and 1080p video support. At the front, it boasts of 8MP camera with screen flash. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It measures 155×76.2×9.8mm, and weighs 189 grams.
