Most of the smartphones priced under INR 9,000 offer HD display. However, it is not the case with every smartphone. Exceptions like ZTE Blade A2S priced at CNY 700 (INR 6,800) comes with 5.2-inch full HD 1080*1920 with 423 pixels per inch (greater than few flagship smartphone like OnePlus 5, which offers just 401 PPI).

Having just high-resolution display is nothing if the display can’t get bright enough in the sunlight or didn’t produce punchier colours and correct saturation. At this price point, these things don’t matter but having a greater display always makes the user happy. The ZTE Blade A2S offers full metal unibody design with all aluminium casing. The placement of the rear camera, finger print sensor is almost symmetrical. The build-quality of this device reminds of Redmi Note 3.

The Device is powered by 1.3 GHz MTK MT6753 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage and a dedicated SD card slot for additional storage seekers (up to 128 GB). The 5.2-inch FHD display is laminated by the 2.5D curved tempered glass, which should protect the screen from the accidents.

The camera on the ZTE Blade A2S is also best in class (at least on paper) with 13 MP rear-facing main camera that offers 1080p video recording capability. The front-facing 5 MP camera with F/2.2 aperture offers wide-angle selfies with 720p video recording capability. The device offers dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability.

The essential features like 3.5 mm headphone jack, WiFi and Bluetooth analogue FM radio makes this a complete package. The only feature that could have made this device a complete bad-boy is its battery. The device is equipped with 2540 mAh Li-ion battery.

Availability: The device is currently on sale at JD.com in China. There is no information regarding the availability of the device in India or anywhere outside China.
