Subscribers of Airtel mobile services in Delhi NCR have been facing issues since 6 pm today. The users have been complaining of no network and interrupted services. This is same for prepaid as well as postpaid users.

Airtel has confirmed the news and apologised to the subscribers. In a statement, issued to media, an official spokesperson of Airtel said,

We are experiencing a network outrage in Delhi NCR. One of our network nodes has been corrupted and we are working to fix it. We are realy sorry for the inconvenience and request you to bear with us. We will be back up shortly.

Airtel currently has over 1 crore 10 lakh subscribers in Delhi.

One of the customers tried calling customer care about the network outage and he was conveyed about some technical problem in the Airtel network. Users took to social media to let out their frustration and soon it became a trending topic in NCR area.

According to Airtel, the engineers have been working on the issue and it will hopefully be rectified soon. We will keep you updated with any development from Airtel. Stay tuned.

 

UPDATE: Airtel has claimed that the services have been fully restored. In an another media statement, a company spokesperson stated

Network Services in Delhi NCR are now fully restored. Once again we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your cooperation.
