To compete with its sibling, RCom has unveiled all new data plan for just INR 70. Anyone with Reliance SIM can activate this feature by recharging 70 on 15th or 16th of August (valid only for 2 days).
What is “Data Ki Azadi”?
Reliance is offering free data for one complete year (365 days) from today. However, the catch here is the data speed is capped up to 2G (max 135 kbps). There are no offers associated with either SMS or calling with this package. The user will also receive additional 56 rupees of talk time.
This package will benefit for those who still use a 2G smartphone, Though the speed will not be sufficient to stream or download. Users can always use it to access Facebook, WhatsApp and casual browsing.
Rcom has recently posted a loss of 1221 crores. According to TRAI, the network provider is losing customers day by day. Can this “Data Ki Azadi” package save Rcom from sinking?
