The ₹500 crore venture debt fund marks the third fund from the Mumbai-based IvyCap Ventures. It will invest in mid-stage startups' Series B and Series C round.
With his appointment as a full-time partner, Abhishek will be involved in strategy, deal flow and mentoring portfolio companies.
The VC firm is now planning to double the size of its investments in early-stage start-ups, as well as for follow-on investment in Series A and B rounds.
Ajay Hattangdi and Vinod Murali, after resigning from InnoVen Capital, are all set to launch their new venture debt fund Alteria Capital, with a fund size of Rs 1000 crore.
