Jet Airways has today announced the launch of their new direct flight connecting Chennai to Paris. The service will commence from October 29. The service is aimed to benefit the frequent business flyers to the European countries.

Delighted with the announcement, Alexandre Ziegler, Ambassador of France to India said that the new service will enhance the air connectivity between India and France and will open a lot more opportunities for the citizens of both nations. Also, this will help France target more Indian tourists to the country along with felicitating more corporate travel to increase business opportunities within the countries.

Jet Airways already runs a daily Mumbai – Paris flight and the new service will be an addition to Jet Airways services from India to Europe.

Vinay Dube, Jet Airways CEO said at the time of the announcement that the new flight will further provide access to over 50 destinations in Europe and over 20 destinations in North America. There has been a growing demand for access to European destinations from South India and this flight will be an important catalyst to address that.
