Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd. enters India’s finance capital with 303 room hotel at Mumbai International Airport

July 01, 2019: Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., today marked its entry into Mumbai with the launch of the 303 room hotel – Lemon Tree Premier-Mumbai International Airport. Strategically located in Mumbai’s business hub of Andheri East, this new age hotel aims to target both, business and leisure travellers as well as the local corporate segment in India’s business capital. Located on Andheri Kurla Road, the hotel is in close proximity to key hubs like SEEPZ, Bombay Exhibition Center, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and is not far from Juhu Beach. This is the second city in Maharashtra, after Pune, with a Lemon Tree Premier and the third city in Maharashtra, after Aurangabad and Pune where the group operates.

The hotel offers 303 plush rooms; a 24×7 multi-cuisine coffee shop – Citrus Café; a hip recreation bar – Slounge; the celebrated pan-Asian restaurant – Republic of Noodles; the spa – Fresco; fitness center; swimming pool and large meeting spaces.


Lemon Tree Hotels Limited is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms, as of June 30, 2017, according to the Horwath Report. We operate in the mid-priced hotel sector, consisting of the upper-midscale, midscale and economy hotel segments. We seek to cater to Indian middle-class guests and deliver differentiated yet superior service offerings, with a value-for-money proposition.

We opened our first hotel with 49 rooms in May 2004 and currently operate ~5800 rooms in 57 hotels across 34 cities. By FY 2021, we will be operating 85 hotels with 8,674 rooms, across 57 cities.

Lemon Tree hotels are located across India, in metro regions, including the NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai, as well as tier I and tier II cities such as Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Goa and Aurangabad.
