Manali

Travelling is always about new experiences and challenges. If a person can accept challenges in their life then they are suitable for travelling. Travelling is a spontaneous phenomenon, everything is unpredictable. Places and sightseeing remain constant but the adventure is variable. While adventure depends on the person’s craziness to explore and find oneself. Adventure develops our physical as well as mental stature. Adventure travelling is a must to do once in a lifetime. To experience adventure, Manali is the best to visit. This is a place where every such adventure can be experienced and felt. Now let’s have a ride to Manali.

Manali is an important hill station of north India. It is situated in Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of Kullu Valley. The climate out there is cool during winter and moderately cool during summer. So it is advisable to travel there in winters to experience snowfall as well as other snow sports. While it is advisable to avoid a visit during rainy season due to landslides. Manali is quite a good place for sightseeing but apart from that, it is more famous for its adventure sports like skiing, hiking, paragliding, rafting, trekking and mountain biking also. Manali is well connected to important tourists destinations such as Delhi, Leh, Kullu, Shimla, and Dheradhun. So after enjoying in Manali if you want to travel to Leh or Ladakh then this would be a plus point for you to be here in Manali.

Adventure Sports

Manali is an ideal place to experience adventures. If someone loves thrill and adventure in his life, then this is the place to experience them. River rafting in Manali is the best thing to do. It is done in the Jhiri section of Kullu district. Apart from river rafting, skiing and camping can also be enjoyed here. Skiing and camping are the part of mountain adventure which adds thrill to live. Paragliding is another adventure sport to be experienced out here.

Temples and Festivals

One of the most fascinating aspects of Manali is the fact that it has several colorful monasteries. They not only serve as a place for worship but tell us about their culture and history of these people. The famous Manu temple is the only one in the name of Lord Manu in India is situated here. Other temples involve Hadimba Temple, Vashist Temple, Gauri Temple and many more popular monasteries. Hadimba Fair, Lossar Festival, and Winter Carnival are complementary in the menu.

Other Experiences

Apart from temples and adventure sports other astonishing things can also be experienced here. Rohtang Pass is one of them. It is a popular tourists spot with over 25 lakh visitor every year. It is the place where we can play with snow and spend some quality time with our family. But the sad part is, it remains closed from October and opens in May due to heavy snowfall. Manali visit can be productive for ladies but harmful for men as popular shopping streets are waiting for their rightful buyers. Every visit is incomplete without tasting its local food. On your trip to Manali don’t forget to miss out the traditional dish called Dham. Also, Red rice which is grown here has a unique nutty flavor. While sipping tea and enjoying the snowfall doubles the experience.

Reading about Manali doesn’t add much but visiting there is the complete blend of adventure, thrill and whole new experience. So it’s my advice, to have a visit and experience it yourself and tell others your story.
