Venezuela opposition to return National Assembly

Bolivian President Evo Morales has said on Saturday, he had visited Venezuela to address his counterpart Nicolas Maduro and express his country’s full support for the Venezuelan elected legitimate president amid the political crisis in Venezuela.

According to Sputnik news reports, in a twitter post, Morales wrote: “We are meeting with my fellow President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro and expressing all our support to him in the face of the overthrow and intervention by the empire that wants to appropriate Venezuela’s national wealth in violation of international law. Bolivia supports dialogue aimed at avoiding conflicts.”

Venezuela is currently facing a critical political crisis along with anti-government protesting led by the self-proclaimed interim president of the country Juan Guaido against the president Maduro in a bid to oust Maduro. Moreover, the United States, who has supported Guaido and recognized him as the interim president of the country, has seized millions of Venezuelan state-owned oil and gas company PDVSA.

To retaliate, Maduro described Guaido as a puppet of Washington, accusing the US of plotting things to oust him.

Though, China, Iran, Turkey, Mexico, Russia and Uruguay among the other nations have expressed their full support to Maduro.

However, Uruguay and Mexico are planning to hold a conference on February 7 over Venezuelan crisis in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, in order to lay down the foundations for the initiation of their new dialogue mechanism contributing to provide back stability and peace in Venezuela.
