Beijing, June 4: China has on Tuesday again issued a travel warning for the United States, stating the Chinese people have been interrogated, questioned, as well as, subjected to other contours of what it has called harassment by the American law enforcement agencies.

China has on Monday cautioned academics and students about risks related to studying in the US, pointing out limit duration limits of visas refusals and visas, in the midst of trade war, including other frictions between Beijing and Washington.

Relations between the two sides have been soared because of their trade spat, tensions over the disputed South China Sea, the US backing TaiwanUS sanction over Chinese technology giant Huawei company.

China’s state-run television has cited the ministry of education as saying recently students who applied seeking to study in the USA had been encountered with problems related to the duration limit of their visas and an increase in visa refusals, according to Economic Times news reports.

Last year, the Chinese embassy in Washington DC has issued a security warning to China’s nationals visiting the US, cautioning them to be careful regarding issues such as expensive medical bills, seizures, and searches by customs agent, public shooting and robberies threats.

Last month, a group of President Donald Trump’s Republicans in the Congress introduced a bill, intended to prevent anyone employed or sponsored by the Chinese military from receiving student or research visas to the US.
