Islamabad, August 16: China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing has condemned what he called remote obstruction into the internal affairs of Hong Kong and cautioned the Chinese government wouldn’t endure intercession of foreign powers in its inner issues.

In an official statement on China’s stance on the pertaining situation in the territory, Yao said, “External forces have played a very disgraceful role in the evolving of the situation in Hong Kong.”

The Chinese diplomat said since the beginning of the procedure for correcting two ordinances, which set off the monstrous challenges in Hong Kong “some western politicians have publicly stood at the forefront and been backseat drivers, calling white black, making a lot of groundless and irresponsible remarks and allegations, and interfering with Hong Kong affairs”.

Beijing won’t permit remote impedance in the issue in light of the fact that Hong Kong is particularly a territory of China, Yao asserted: “Hong Kong is China’s Hong Kong. Hong Kong affairs are China’s internal affairs. China will not tolerate the intervention of external forces.”

The statement further added the Chinese main authority has solemnly demanded certain nations should abide by the basic norms of international rules, foreign relations, and their own obligations not to interfere in Hong Kong matters and “stop supporting violence and interfering in Hong Kong affairs in any form”.

The Chinese central government unswervingly protects national power and Hong Kong’s security and stability, and undauntedly remains by the legislature of Hong Kong SAR (Special Administrative Region) in its organization as per the laws and guidelines, underpins the Hong Kong police in law enforcement and the city’s legal executive to rebuff rough lawbreakers as per the law, and acknowledges the activity of the enthusiastic residents of Hong Kong to safeguard the standard of law in Hong Kong, it said.

Be that as it may, regardless of the suspension of the administrative work, vicious dissents have proceeded, Yao said, “Since 12th June, the protests in Hong Kong have completely gone beyond the freedom of assembly, demonstration or protest.”

Their conduct has transparently annoyed the national respect and tested the primary concern of the ‘one country, two systems’’ standard.
