Chinese President Xi Jinping has on Friday said, the relation between China and India are “actively” moving forward with strong cooperation and mutual trust, as under a new established framework, both the foreign minister of the countries held an extensive meeting in India’s capital New Delhi.

In a message, to congratulate the very first meeting of “high level mechanism on cultural and people-to-people exchanges” held in New Delhi, Jinping said India and China both are ancient civilizations bragging long history and also splendid cultural.

Jinping further said, both the two civilizations has made significant contributions over the human progress and development.

According to a news reported by Chinese Xinhua agency, quoted Jinping as saying, “Today, China-India relations are actively moving forward, with mutual political trust deepening, practical cooperation accelerating, people-to-people and cultural exchanges flourishing, and bilateral coordination in international and regional affairs sustaining.”

Jinping further added saying it has been now proven that the bilateral ties does not only benefits both countries but also whole globe. He said India and China should now promote communication between both the people’s minds and should forge for a close development partnership.

China’s external affairs minister Wang Yi and his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on Friday agreed on a “ten pillars” of the cooperation in order to enhance people-to-people exchange and cultural.

The “ten pillar” are: cooperation in films and television, cooperation in education, cultural exchange, cooperation in yoga, cooperation in museum administration, exchange between youths, cooperation in sports, cooperation in traditional  medicine, cooperation on tourism and exchanges between states and cities.
