Dinesh D’Souza to Release a Pro-Trump documentary Comparing him with Former President Lincoln

Dinesh D’Souza, a well-known far-right filmmaker announced on his Twitter account on the 11th of June that he had finished working on his fourth documentary film, Death of a Nation, which would compare the similarities between 45th President of the United States Donald Trump and the 16th President of the United States Abraham Lincoln, considering D’Souza believes that despite not being the exact same people, President Trump and President Lincoln had fallen into the same horrendous situation – becoming victims to the dramatic refusal of American Democrats to accept their Republican Presidents.

Scheduled for a theatrical release on the 3rd of August, Death of a Nation is based on his eponymous book which will also be inaugurated for public release in the same week. Dinesh’s Twitter post revealed the poster of the film which includes a morphed facial structure of the two Presidents, and features a US flag in the background, with reconstructed imagery of the Civil War and present-day university riots framing the poster.

Dinesh D’Souza’s documentaries have all gained immense popularity throughout the world as his 2012 documentary criticizing the Obama administration had proved to become the second-most successful political documentary in the US since 1982, only losing the highest title to Fahrenheit 9/11, the world’s highest grossing documentary by Michael Moore. As a result, despite the number of negative criticism and loss of support from the Democrats, the release of Death of a Nation rests high box office expectations upon itself.
