After the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan was interacting with the media reporters. He thanked the judiciary of Pakistan and added that the judiciary has given a new hope to the people of Pakistan who were suffering from the atrocities of the government.

Imran Khan, the founder of political party Tehreek-e-Insaf, has also announced to celebrate Youm-e-Tashakur (a form of thanks giving) in Islamabad’s Parade Ground by holding a rally.

Praising the judiciary and the special investigation team, Imran Khan said that the investigation team has completed the investigation within 60 days. This proves that Pakistan still has the ability to put a check on corruption and this could be a great sign for the coming time. He also added that he knew Nawaz Sharif’s family for over 40 years and there was no personal enmity against him or his family. Further, Imran Khan called this the beginning of new Pakistan.
