Donald Trump intend to meet with North Korea’s Kim, amid Pyongyang’s warning over US sanction

The United States President Donald Trump has on Tuesday, said that he is looking forward to have a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, amid Korea’s Pyongyang warning to opt “new paths” if Washington keep trying to impose its sanctions on North Korea.

Trump’s comment was a response to Kim, when Kim said the country would have “no option but to explore a new path in order to protect our sovereignty” if Washington “continues to break its promises and misjudges our patience by unilaterally demanding certain things and pushes ahead with sanctions and pressure”.

In a tweet, Trump wrote: “Kim Jong-Un says North Korea will not make or test nuclear weapons, or give them to others – & he is ready to meet President Trump anytime.” PBS News Hour. I also look forward to meeting with Chairman Kim who realizes so well that North Korea possesses great economic potential!”

Trump has created history, last summer, by becoming first US president to hold talks with North Korean leader in more than a five decades.

During their meeting in Singapore in June, Trump and Kim had signed a “vaguely worded statement” where the North committed to “denuclearization”, though it went stalled over disagreements.

During recent weeks, both country’s leader have indicated that they are willing to plan a meet again. Though, the dates and place for their second meeting have not yet been decided and declared.
