The United States President Donald Trump hit out at Fox News on January 27, saying the media outlets has even “less understanding” of the border wall negotiation than that of“FAKE NEWS CNN”.

In a Tweet, the US president wrote: “Never thought I’d say this but I think @johnrobertsFox and @GillianHTurner @FoxNews have even less understanding of the Wall negotiations than the folks at FAKE NEWS CNN & NBC! Look to final results! Don’t know how my poll numbers are so good, especially up 19% with Hispanics?”

In another tweet post, Trump wrote: “After all that I have done for the Military, our great Veterans, Judges (99), Justices (2), Tax & Regulation Cuts, the Economy, Energy, Trade & MUCH MORE, does anybody really think I won’t build the WALL? Done more in the first two years than any President! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

While Gillian Turner is Washington Correspondent for Fox News, on another hand, John Roberts is the chief White House Correspondent for Fox News.

However, it was still unclear to which exact text the president was referring to in his two tweets, although reports mentioned Trump was miffed by the general coverage of the Trump’s demand border wall negotiations and the 35-day federal shutdown – the longest shutdown even in the US history – according to Fox News reporters.

Trump’s remarks came after he signed temporary legislation to reopen the US government for three weeks, passed unanimously by the US Congress, until February 15.
