Former United States vice president Joe Biden has officially announced his bid running for 2020 US presidential election against the president Donald Trump, a US democratic leader has confirmed on Tuesday according to an exclusive report revealed by The Hill.
According to ANI news reports, the source has quoted the democratic lawyer as saying that, during a telephonic conversation, the ex-vice president has stated, “I’m giving it a shot,” interpreting Biden’s statement as a sure sign of his running for the White House in the upcoming presidential election.
According to the lawmaker, Biden had also asked him to for some campaign strategy ideas which Biden can use for his presidential bid, as well as Biden invited him to have a face-to-face conversation in the near future.
Early in 2017, once Biden had told a leading magazine that he hasn’t made any decision over it yet but said he is not against the idea of running for the presidency in 2020.
