Hannover (Germany), May 29: The members of the Free Balochistan movement have organized a protest on Tuesday in Germany’s province of Hannover city against May 28, 1998, nuclear tests carried out by Pakistan in the Balochistan province.

According to ANI news reports, the protesters gave out several pamphlets on May 28 attacks, as well as, the aftermath of those nuclear tests that have caused severe diseases in the region, Balochistan. Demonstrators raised slogans against Iranian and Pakistani occupation on the sovereign Balochistan state.

Protesters gave awareness about the nuclear tests in the region while carrying out hoarding and placards inscribed with several slogans and pictures of people suffered diseases after the detonation of the nuclear weapon.

A speaker said, “It does not rain anymore in the are the way it used to, children are being born with severe disabilities, cancer has become very common in the area and many people are getting affected, live stocks and agriculture have completely been destroyed with the people suffering from various skin diseases.”

The speakers said Pakistani weapons have been kept in major cities of Balochistan, reportedly, Sonmiani and Khuzdar, but however, the foreign authorities are silent.

Another speaker said atomic weapons in possession of such terrorist and irresponsible nations like Pakistan and Iran are a threat to Global peace and other neighbouring nations especially India and Afghanistan, adding, “Pakistan threatens and boasts of having the nuclear capability which is alarming.”

They said nations who are responsible for the world needs to contribute to disarming Islamabad, otherwise, the nation will provide access for the terrorist outfit to nuclear assets.
