Houston, Sep 22:  Modi, delivering his speech at the historic event, talks about the development underwent over five years in India under his leadership. He talks about Article 370 and says Jammu and Kashmir people were deprived of development and terrorist were misusing the special status.

Modi hails the removal of Article 370. He says J&K and Ladhak, now have the same rights as all states have in India. He said India secured some 3.5 lakhs crore by shutting down fake companies across India – a way to India’s growth and development.

Modi takes a jibe at Pakistan, saying they use to give safe haven to terrorists and organizations. Modi says the time has come to fight against terrorism around the world. He underscored, in this battle, Trump is standing with us and is willing to fight against terrorism.

Trump says: ” In November the US & India will demonstrate dramatic progress of our defence relationship, holding the first-ever tri-service military exercise between our nations, it is called ‘Tiger Triumph’, good name.”

Trump said the US is committed to fighting against radical Islamic terrorism. He says we need to secure our borders from terrorists.

US President Trump and PM Modi have arrived at the stage to address cheering over 50,000 Indian-Americans present at the NRG Stadium, making a history in Houston, Texas.

Modi begins with his speech, praising Trump and hailing the India-US relationship. Ahead of 2020 US Presidential Election, Modi says : “Abki Baar Trump Sarkaar”

The moment has come for which Houston was getting prepared for as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi , who arrived in the United States on Saturday for a week-long official visit, is all set to appear before audiences, to participate in “Howdy, Modi!” event, scheduled for today, September 22, to take place in Texas’ Houston. In a few hours, Modi will address the Indian community.

US President Donald Trump is slated to join Modi at the three-hour “Howdy Modi” event which is organized at the NRG Football Stadium – one of the biggest stadium in the United States. He is also expected to deliver a 30-miniute speech in front of audiences at the event. During the event, energetic cultural shows will be presented by some 400 artistes.

“Howdy Houston! It’s a bright afternoon here in Houston. Looking forward to a wide range of programmes in this dynamic and energetic city today and tomorrow,” PM Modi earlier tweeted.

The event is likely to be attended by over 50,000 audience – the largest gathering for an elected foreign pioneer visiting America, other than of Pope, according to Economic Times.

The Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and top executives of top 13 American energy companies, including of Baker Hughes, Perot Group and Hillwood, and ExxonMobil are expected to join Prime Minister Modi at his official roundtable conference scheduled for September 21 in Houston, sources reports said on Thursday.

The final list showed the numbers of US companies joining Modi at his Houston visit are 62 companies in total, according to ANI news reports.
