Beijing, June 17: China’s telecommunication giant Huawei technology Pvt Ltd founder Ren Zhengfei has on Monday said the Chinese company was surprised by such United States actions against it and had never expected America to take such “extreme measures” against Huawei.

According to Sputnik news reports, while noting Huawei’s revenue will decrease $30 billion than the previous forecast over the coming next two years, Ren said, “I think both sides will suffer. No one will win.”

In May, the US department of commerce put Huawei, along with other 70 of its affiliates on a blacklist list, banning them from using or purchasing any equipment from the American firms without any special government permission to do trade.

On May 29, Huawei has said the company has lodged a “motion for summary judgment” in a lawsuit against the US challenging its constitutionality of American law blocking its federal agencies to buy products and equipment of Huawei.

The fresh lawsuit filed request the apex court to override a pinch of the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA), which has especially banned its governmental agencies from making use of technologies from Huawei and China’s other company like ZTE.

US President Donald Trump has inked the NDAA last year while alleging Huawei’s products posed a threat to American national security, as the Chinese authority could make use of Huawei by its intelligence agencies to spy on the USA.

Huawei had sued Trump-led government in March, calling a porting of the NDAA act “unconstitutional”.

Huawei is facing a growing backlash from Western nations, led by the US, over potential risks and threats posed by using its equipment in next-generation 5G network.

Moreover, on May 5,  Huawei technology has said it was willing to ink a “no-spy agreement” with the US government if the nation is open to provide this opportunity, in response to years of accusations leveled by America and its allies that the Chinese Intelligence Agencies for spying could use Huawei’s product for spying.

In consideration to the fact, the US has been trying urging its European allies, including said nations to cut off its ties with the Chinese firm, Huawei has also offered the same agreements to Germany and the United Kingdom, according to ANI news reports.
