Worldwide Cost of Living 2022

 Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)  released the annual survey titled- Worldwide Cost of Living 2022 on December 1, according to which Singapore and New York were the world’s most expensive place to live in, while Damascus and Tripoli were the cheapest or least expensicve places in the world.

In the list, Bangalore, Chennai and Ahmedabad were the three Indian cities that came in the bottom ten, in the ranks of expense parameter.

The report compared the costs for goods and services in 173 cities in US dollars. Kyiv was not included for this year’s review. The EIU compared over 400 individual prices across over 200 products and services from 172 cities across the world.
