New Delhi, August 29: India on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Pakistan for its “false” and “irresponsible” statements over Jammu and Kashmir, which New Delhi claimed is its own “internal matter”.
“We strongly condemn the recent statements by Pakistani leadership on matters internal to India. These are very irresponsible statements,” said MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar, according to Hindustan Times.

Reacting to Pakistan minister Shireen Mazari’s letter to the United Nations, Kumar said it did not worth even the paper over which it was written, adding, “We don’t want to give credence to it by reacting.”

In a stern warning to Pakistan, India’s defence minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday stated Kashmir was only of India as it has been and will remain so.
“Want to ask Pakistan when had Kashmir belonged to it. Kashmir was always part of India,” he said in Ladakh, further adding Islamabad don’t have any locus standing at the valley
“We are aware that Pakistan uses terror as state policy and we have made them aware of our concerns. We have received information that Pakistan is trying to infiltrate terrorists. We demand that Pakistan must act against the terror groups operating on its soil,” MEA Spokesperson said.

He also it was important for Pakistan to now start behaving like a normal neighbour.

Kumar also said India was already aware of Pakistan’s usage of terror as its state policy, demanding Islamabad much act against the terror outfits operating from its soil.
