Shinzo Abe with his new cabinet ministers

Japanese Prime Minister is all set to restore the faith of the people of his country that was lost due to his scandal-hit government.

Shinzo Abe has announced to reshuffle his cabinet. The new cabinet comprises 13 members who have either served in the former cabinet or had previous experience in ministerial positions. Six new faces would be seen with the revamped lineup aimed at restoring public trust.

The decision to reshuffle the cabinet came in when Abe retook the office in 2012 and the public approval rating sunk to the lowest due to an influencing-peddling scandal alleging the prime minister used his position to ensure the construction of the new veterinary school to be run by his friend in a special deregulated zone.

The reshuffling of the cabinet will commence with the resignation of the former ministers followed by the meeting of new cabinet ministers.

The new cabinet will be formally inaugurated at a ceremony at the Imperial Palace.
