Vilnius, August 19: Indian Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu met with Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis on Monday and discussed ways to bolster the bilateral and diplomatic relations between the two nations, according to Times of India news reports.

Naidu has arrived in Vilnius on Saturday on the first batch of his official five-day three-nation visit to Estonia and Latvia, marking the first-ever high delegation’s visit to the three Baltic nations from India.

“Commitment to strengthening ties. VP M Venkaiah Naidu met with Lithuanian PM Saulius Skvernelis, discussed strengthening ties across sectors between the two countries,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
