Seoul [South Korea], August 2: North Korea launched some “unidentified” short-range missiles on Friday off its East Coast, according to South Korean military’s reports.

According to ANI news reports, the projectiles were fired at around 2:59 am and 3:33 am (local time) into the East Sea from the South Hamgyong city, the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) stated.

State-run Yonhap news agency cited the JCS saying it was monitoring the condition of the region in case of any additional firings and preparing for any revolt.

The development marked the third time when North Korea fired such missiles in just a week. The first missile launch was played down by United States President Donald Trump who has argued the nation tested a “smaller missiles” which a lot of nations do.
