India condemned the nuclear test conducted on Sunday by North Korea saying that North Korea has once again violated its international commitments of nuclear disarmament in the Korean Peninsula by testing the nuclear weapons. India also called for North Korea to stay away from such activities, which harm the peace and stability in its own region and areas surrounding the regions.

On Sunday the Indian Ministry of External Affairs had issued a statement saying that India condemns nuclear tests conducted by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). The statement read that “it is very worrisome that North Korea has once again violated the international commitments to achieve the objectives of nuclear disarmament in the Korean peninsula, we call North Korea to stay away from such activities and not harm the peace and stability of its own region and areas outside its region.

The Ministry of External Affairs also stated that India is also concerned about the spread of nuclear and missile technology, which has adversely impacted the Indian security.

According to North Korea’s official media, North Korea on Sunday morning had tested a powerful hydrogen bomb, which can be mounted in the intercontinental ballistic missile.

As per the latest updates, in response to the trial of North Korea’s hydrogen bomb on Sunday, the South Korean army also did a live fire exceeds. According to the Joint Chief of Staff, South Korea’s Army and Air Force jointly did a drill which included surface-to-surface ballistic missiles and FK-15 fighter aircraft. In this, fighter jets and missiles were successful in dividing their targets on the east coast of South Korea.

North Korea conducted the sixth nuclear test on Sunday stating that is was successful in testing the hydrogen bomb. US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that strict sanctions against North Korea are being drafted, it is not just a matter of time to talk. When a reporter asked the US President Donald Trump that whether the United States would attack North Korea, Trump not revealing much just replied that “We will see.”

Meanwhile, the US President Donald Trump has already warned that the US will end its business relations with all those countries who are involved in business with North Korea. Expressing his displeasure on the Nuclear test, Trump said that it is a provocative action taken by North Korea and is dangerous for the United States.

In his statement to the press outside the White House, United States Secretary of Defense James Mattis said that the United States is capable enough to defend its colleagues along with South Korea and Japan. He further added that Kim Jong-Un should pay attention to the unified voice of the United Nations Security Council as all members have agreed with the consensus on the statement that North Korea is dangerous for all. They are unanimous in their commitment to abandon the Korean Peninsula. Mattis said that “we are not seeing a country’s total destruction, that is, North Korea, but as I said, we have many options to do this.”

North Korea on Sunday said that it has developed highly advanced nuclear bombs capable of carrying ballistic missiles. North Korea’s official news service issued pictures of country’s new leader Kim Jong inspecting the new bomb. China, which is closely related to North Korea, has advised that they do not take any such step, causing the situation to worsen.

This nuclear test is being condemned by all the countries around the world including India. India’s Foreign Ministry has said that this move of North Korea is a violation of the international commitments to free the Korean Peninsula from nuclear weapons.
