Pakistan’s military and civil leadership are expected to hold a meeting with India this week in order to discuss the increasing tensions between the two countries following one of the horrified suicide bombing terror attack, Pulwama terror attack on Indian paramilitary.

The terror attack was claimed by Pakistan based and backed Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist group, led by chief Masood Azhar, which claimed the lives of 44 CRPF personnel in India-occupied Kashmir. This terror attack has escalated the tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad, with Pakistan calling back their envoys.

According to TOI news reports, Pakistan’s envoy would be briefing the civil and military leadership over the current condition in India.

The National Security Committee (NSC), the highest decision-making forum on foreign and national security policy, is likely to hold a meeting this week to discuss Pulwama terror attack. The meeting would be overseen by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and also will be attended by main federal ministers including the services chiefs, the report had stated.

This top-level meeting would also review the condition arising after the Pulwama terror attack in India’s state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Modi has on Monday said India would take strong actions against the perpetrators of the terror attack, further adding that the time for talks was over.

However, Pakistan has strongly dismissed all the allegations levelled against it by India and said the JeM remains a proscribed organization in Islamabad since 2002 and the nation has been implementing its obligations over sanctions implementations.
