Recently, a Hindu leader Darshan Lal has been made Union Minister in the elections held in Pakistan and this news has become the center of attraction for discussion everywhere. Yesterday Pakistan’s fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar tweeted, Pakistan as a secular country. Shoaib said, “Hindu politician Darshan Lal is now the cabinet minister in Pakistan. This tells that Pakistan is a secular country.”
After Nawaz Sharif resigned from the post of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, new elections are being held in the country now. Nawaz resigned from the post after he was found guilty in the Panama Paper case. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been elected as the new Prime Minister. Abbasi has given place to a Hindu leader, Darshan Lal as the Union Minister in his cabinet. All the new Ministers took oath under the administration of Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain.
65-year-old Darshan Lal is a doctor in the city of Mirpur, Mathole, in Ghoti district of the Sindh. He has been given the responsibility of maintaining the coordination between the four provinces of Pakistan.
