US and India are in support of eachother

New Delhi, May 24: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed gratitude on Thursday to United States President Donald Trump after receiving wishes for victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls from the latter.

In a tweet, the PM wrote, “Thank you, Donald Trump. This victory represents the aspirations of a nation of 1.3 billion people. I’m looking forward to working closely with you for closer bilateral ties, which also augur well for global peace and prosperity.”

According to ANI news reports, Modi’s tweet comes after receiving greetings from the US president on his win at the 2019 general elections. Trump has outlined “great things are in store for the US-India partnership with the return of PM Modi at the helm”.

Trump tweeted to congratulate Modi and wrote: “Congratulations to Prime Minister @NarendraModi and his BJP party on their BIG election victory! Great things are in store for the US-India partnership with the return of PM Modi at the helm. I look forward to continuing our important work together!”

The US President has joined scores of the world leaders in extending their greetings and wishes to PM Modi, as yesterday, May 23, he won in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections for the straight second term.
