Brexit Deal

London, Sep 4: A Scottish court has ruled on Wednesday United Kingdom (UK) Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s move to suspend parliament until mid-October was lawful.

More than 75 member of parliaments had reportedly challenged the British prime minister’s right to prorogue or suspend UK parliament, arguing it was unconstitutional and illegal because he was seeking to pursue such motion to push through a no-deal Brexit scenario on scheduled October 31 by capping the efforts of opponents to object him.

Scottish Court Judge Raymond Doherty stated the question wasn’t a matter for the courts but of a political issue, according to Reuters news reports.
