Washington DC, June 1: United States President Donald Trump has said on Friday he will be officially announcing his bid running for a second term in the 2020 presidential election during a rally in Florida on June 18.

According to ANI news reports, US vice president Mike Pence, first lady Melania Trump and second lady Karen Pence are also slated to attend the rally, as per Trump’s Tweet.

In his official Twitter handle, the US president wrote: “I will be announcing my Second Term Presidential Run with First Lady Melania, Vice President Mike Pence, and Second Lady Karen Pence on June 18th in Orlando, Florida, at the 20,000 seat Amway Center.”

Trump had in November 2016 defeated Hillary Clinton, the Democrat, and won victory for his first presidential term.

If America re-elects Trump in 2020, he will be the 16th US president to retain power after completing the first term.

Till now, a total of five women have entered the race for the presidential bid, which includes Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Tulsi Gabbard.
