During a late night event held to mark the Laylat al-Qadr, the holiest night according to the Islamic observance, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey decided to make his statement against Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz’s decision to deport dozens of imams and shut down several mosques in Austria, by demanding Germany to do their best and “straighten him out”, before he leads his country into the depths of darkness by continuing to make rash decisions swayed by his personal beliefs.

President Erdoğan made what he explained as a call to the Austrian Chancellor by asking him to reflect on his inexperienced behaviours, which are direct results of his young age, before he accidentally stars a present crusader-cresent war. During the Observance, the Turkish President called upon all of the West, but specifically Germany, to “straighten out [their] man”, in reference to Chancellor Kurz, who has succeeded to rile up most of Ankara by announcing his decisions against the spread of “political Islam” in Austria, and drive some sense into him before his rash decisions turned out to become way too much for any of them to handle. When the Chancellor announced that parallel societies and radicalization should never find a home in his country, he also mentioned that his shutdown of Turkey-based mosques and deportation of foreign funded imams was only a beginning of his crackdown on the complete eradication of using religion to gain political importance in Austria.

President Erdoğan also gave a statement where he threatened to take serious steps to protect all the 250,000 brothers of Turkey who were being mercilessly oppressed in Austria, if the situation got out of hand. Ankara would not stand idle as Austria behaved out of their line, and would do whatever seemed needed, all in accordance with their arguments.
