Early on Saturday, the United States government began a partial shutdown of its government after the House of Representatives and the senate adjourned the matter without passing a federal funding over the President Donald Trump’s demand of funds regarding the construction of a border wall between the US and Mexico, as they were unable to reach a common deal.
According to a news report, Despite of last-ditch meeting on Capitol Hill between the congressional leaders and White House, operations for key parts of federal government went ceased on 12:01 am on Saturday.
Trump has sought to blame the democrats, who while responding reminded Trump of his quote to be “proud” over the shutdown of key parts of the federal government to get funded back for a border wall at the US-Mexico.
In a tweet, Trump posted a video and wrote: “We’re going to have a shutdown. There’s nothing we can do about that because we need the Democrats to give us their vote.”
Trump further added saying, “The shutdown hopefully will not last long.”

Democratic senators and republicans had reached to a deal this week over a short-term funding legislation which did not included a finance support of $5 billion what Trump has requested, but Trump on Thursday said to not sign over the papers.
Senate democratic leader Chuck Schumer said, “President Trump has thrown a temper tantrum and now has us careening towards a ‘Trump shutdown’ over Christmas.”
Schumer added saying, “You’re not getting the wall today, next week or on January 3rd, when Democrats take control of the House.”
An hour before the midnight deadline, lawmakers met White House officials and US vice president Mike Pence in a last-ditch talks in order to sought compromises of funding bills between Trump and both political parties.
But however, they were unable to reach to a decision on the deal, and the senate and the House of Representatives adjourned with ensuring a partial shutdown of government.
Funding to the departments of homeland security, agricultural and justice agencies would set to expire on Friday at midnight. However, the funding to three-quarters of federal government programs, labour department, defence department, health and human services were fully funded through the next September 30.
