The United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday, said that he stood by Saudi Arabia crown prince Mohammed bin Salman despite of allegations from CIA assessments that Mohammed ordered the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and avoided the US senators pleas for him in order to condemn kingdom’s de facto ruler.

Trump, further refused to comment over whether Mohammed was complicit in Khashoggi’s murder or not, but though supported crown prince from the day incident happened in Saudi’s consulate Istanbul on October 2.

During an exclusive interview, at the Oval office, Trump said, “He’s the leader of Saudi Arabia. They’ve been a very good ally.”

According to news reports, when asked standing by kingdom is what he meant to stand by crown prince, Trump said, “Well, at this moment, it certainly does.”

Some official members of Saudi Arabia class was agitating over crown prince from becoming the next king of the country, according to news reports, they are believing that for that case, the US and Trump could help them out playing a determined role over the matter.

Trump said, “I just haven’t heard that.” Trump further added saying, “Honestly, I can’t comment on it because I had not heard that at all. In fact, if anything, I’ve heard that he’s very strongly in power.”

While Trump criticized the act of Saudi member in the killing of Khashoggi, Trump on Tuesday, reiterated that “crown prince vehemently denies” his involvement in the violation over the killing of Khashoggi that has sparked the whole world.

Amid controversy, Trump has come under the fire of criticism for supporting crown prince. Last week, a Trump ally has said, “You have to be willfully blind not to come to the conclusion that this was orchestrated and organized by people under the command of MbS.”
