The United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday, said that he is “not concerned” over the threats of the impeachment because “the people would revolt if that happened” in the country.

Trump, who has been charged with the campaign finance violation by Robert Mueller and admitted by his former lawyer Michael Cohen, claimed that it would be very “hard to impeach somebody who hasn’t done anything wrong”.

US federal prosecutor Robert Mueller last week has alleged that Trump directed Cohen to pay hush money payment to two women, who claimed to have had affairs with Trump, in order to shut their mouth, and has violated the campaign finance law.

However, in response to Mueller’s alleged statement, Trump opposed it by arguing the payment was a “simple private transaction” and the democrats “wrongly call it a campaign contribution … which it is not”.

Though, Cohen pleaded guilty to all of the eight charges and is going to be sentences on Wednesday, and has said the hush money payment to two women was paid “at the direction of the candidate” in order to prevent the allegations wrecking his campaign.

According to news reports, when asked about whether he was worried over the threat over getting removed from the office, Trump said, “I’m not concerned, no. I think that the people would revolt if that happened.”

Trump further added saying, “It’s hard to impeach somebody who hasn’t done anything wrong and who’s created the greatest economy in the history of our country.”

Trump asserted that the economy of the US is much better than these years under his presidency.
