According to BBC news reports, Trump, praising Sanders as a “warrior”, said she would travel back to her home state of Arkansas during the end of July.

Sanders, the latest senior White House official to resign, stated her role had been the “honour of a lifetime”. During her combative tenure, her credibility was pointed out and questioned that saw media briefings all but downgraded to a thing of the past.

At the White House, Trump has on Thursday described Sanders as “a special person, a very, very fine woman”. “She’s a warrior, we’re all warriors, we have to be warriors,” Trump added

.In a quavering voice, She said: “This is something I will treasure forever. I’m going to continue to be one of the most outspoken and loyal supporters of the president.”
