New Delhi, June 21: The International Yoga Day celebration was held in most of the countries across the globe. All world leaders joined Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this occasion to celebrate, spread awareness regarding benefits obtained through daily yoga practices and awareness regarding spreading peace worldwide.
Ambassador of India to Nepal also tweeted International Yoga Day celebration held in Nepal. He wrote, “Celebrating IDY in Nepal Rt Hon K P Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal leads the IDY celebrations in Kathmandu @narendramodi @DrSJaishankar @MEAIndia @IndiaInNepal.”
Moreover, PM Modi tweeted the ambassador’s tweet and expressed happiness with Nepal Prime Minister Oil’s “remarkable gesture” leading the Yoga Day celebration in Nepal.

Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena also tweeted: “I compliment my friend @narendramodi for his efforts at bringing our common heritage of Yoga to the international stage. I urge all to practice yoga like me.”
